I have a 94- 4.3w motor blazer. I have been working on it for it 3 months now. Runs fine for 5 to 10 minutes but then starts to surge and falls on its face. Then it wont start or hard cranking. Now it wont even start. I put on a new fuel pump, regulator, IAC, distirbtor. tune up. Checked spider assembly- no visible leaks. Everytime you drive it for 2 to 10 minutes it breaks down and I have to have it towed. Its a very rough idle. I have changed the fuel filter, distributor, wires, idle. Took to a mechanic and they had no idea.
HELP at wits end.
Thanks

I'm posting this up to a friend of mine who is a shop forman for Chevy. I'll paste when he gets back to me. He usually has some good suggestions.

I ran into a mechanic that said he had a simular issue on one. They found that when the fuel pump was replaced they did not replace the screen (from the pickup tube). They did this and no more stalling issues. Just a thought

the same thing happened to me-right after my brother in law changed the fuel pump and did not put the new screen on with it- I found it in the bottom of the box after limping my poor bazer home- he bought another pump and replaced it for me-this time with all the pieces-and she ran just fine!
