Just bought me a 1997 Blazer from a guy in town. Already having problems with it. Think I got screwed. Check out the problem in the General Tech Help section, under fuel pump problems. Anyways hope to get the problem fixed and start fixing it up.
Heya and sorry you have to first start here with issues, but hopefully we'll be able to give ya a hand and get you back into the "happy section" soon. Also feel free to search through the posts, some of the problems might already be posted.
I know how you feel though, I bought my Blazer this past April and already I have had to change the Encoder Motor for the 4wd, the a/c compressor and been fixing little stuff too. But I think that the worst of it is over and now I can hopefully focus on working on the fun stuff. I guess the previous owner didn't take care of it too well.

Hello, I am new to the forum. I just recently purchased a 1999 blazer 4wd. The dealer is in the process of chasing down the problem with the vehicle, but he thinks that it is an intake manifold gasket. Is this a common problem with these trucks?? Thanks!
