Well, my brother just bought a 3rd truck, and gave me his Blazer.
It's a 1994 4WD S10 Blazer. He beat it up pretty good, but not too bad, and I'm only 16, homeschooled, and have way to much time on my hands. So I want to clean it up, maybe do some DIY fixing up of some of it's problems. I'm great with mechanical stuff, not quite familiar with automotive stuff yet, but I ride BMX and a lot of the mechanics of a simple bike carry over into the common sense of a vehicle maintenence suprisingly.
I was wondering a few things:
1. Is it hard to find tailgates, quarterpanels, and such for my year and model?
2. Performance wise, is it worth the money to add some bells and whistles to it to give it some kick?
Any input would make my day!
Thanks.

Greetings and welcome, always nice to see someone enthused about restoring a blazer to its former glory
Thanks everybody. I have begun cleaning it up. I'm going to wipe down the engine and whatnot, and consider degreasing it soon. Maybe tomorrow I'll throw some pics up in this thread of it. Not really eye candy or anything but its a 1st gen that runs good and isnt in pile of crap shape (seems like thats how 90% of them are now), so yeah hhaa.

heya and welcome. How come your home schooled? just curious. Glad to see your going to put the time and effort into the Blazer. When its complete you'll have a great sense of pride when it comes to that truck. :)

I was a bum last year and never went to school. I figured homeschool would solve that, and it has so far.
