Nice, isn't it? It was installed by 130 pound Nick Miller originally from Pennsylvania, now living in Crossville, soon to be living 6 feet underground!
Before anyone asks, he was up in the attic helping my husband install a ceiling fan in a bedroom we've been renovating, and decided to take a quick "trip" downstairs into the library. Maybe he wanted to borrow a book. He says he's gonna fix it this weekend...

No and I'm sure being screamed at while he was lying on the floor with sheetrock up his @$$ didn't feel very good either. BTW it wasn't me who was screaming...I had my best friend over that night and we'd had a few drinks and everything at that point was just hilarious!

Just do what a friend of mine did when that happened. Slap a peice of newspaper over it and call it a day lol.

Just a thought but since you have the hole there, install one of those natural sun tubes. I have installed a few of those in my father in laws house. Floods the room on bright days.

I work on houses and that is not a hard fix. Just make sure he doesn't use that paper tape on the seams. it is usless, and peals off fast.

LOL, Nope. We already have 2 fireplaces in the house...insurance would be even more through the roof than it already is!

My Dad's employees have fell through some ceilings before... a good laugh that will cost you 100 bucks.
