it pretty much is the factory door panel...but everything is wrapped in tweed.  The guy who did it did not have a sewing maching to properly do the top piece (where the triangle is) so when he gets a maching he's gonna take the panels back off and stitch right there to pull it in tighter.

as for the rear...im gonna be running a set of rainbow coax's in the rears just for fill.....but these speakers sound amazing.  i was listening to Metallica S&M on the way home and live music on there = amazing lol

so did you end up keeping the "enclosures" for the 6.5's or did you IB them to the door? Looks nice though.

we cut out the back end of them and are basically using the door for the enclosure.  The shop was worried about it sounding good as well and we put them in...didnt sound right and then just cut them out.  it sounds amazing now.  Im gonna be putting a set of tweets up in the dash and running them off the HU just to fill some more sound out of the front

I honestly think u should switch out to the 4x6 plates. More fill and you wont just be getting that high high end frequency ya know.

btw Skynard sounded bad ass =D

Since when do 4x6 plates play higher frequencys than tweeters?

Sick doors bro. Where is that store that carries rainbow. No one here has heard of them, and I have been trying to find someone who carries them.

yea man the SQ on these things are amazing...cant wait to get the coaxs in the rear doors so i can hear the whole thing together.  Still debating if I wanna do 4x6 plates in the dash or 4" midbass drivers

midbass ftw

not going to get much midbass from a 4" driver. With midbass and SQ you want as large of a midbass as possible. In my sedan, im running 9" dedicated midbass.

I dont think many people are willing to mod enough to fit a 9" midbass, let alone 4....

well we went with components for the rear doors instead of the coax's.....and I had Dynaudio 4" midranges put up in the dash for more fill up front.  the rear doors are done now. i just need to get a decent day to take pics. They have my center console right now. Going in that is a switch panel for all my little trinkets i have going in my truck, an 8" touchscreen monitor in the front and a 7" monitor in the back of the console. covered again in the black tweed. should be sweet when its done. Ive also picked up a 20" tv for the back of my truck when i get ready to rebuild the back end.

currently im using a ppi frx-456 for processing.  ive been thinking about picking up a nice zapco processor once the build is done just to give me more adjustability with everything
