Sorry, I was a little fired up last night about the whole thing from another forum about the six flags meet that I am helping organize. I deleted the comment that I made and I am sorry. I know now that you didn't mean it that way. For some reason, I took it the wrong way. Actually, I am a little crazy now that you mention it. I still see Krispy Kreme's here, but in Shaw's (which is going out of business soon), and some gas stations. Not saying that I don't like them, but I'm just soo used to eating dunkin donuts that anything else just seems akward. I do like Tim Horton's though. They are making a splash in the northeast. Plus the grocery store I work at, we are making our own Apple Cider and chocolate doughnuts and they are sooooo good!

No problem! I get fired up on things for no reason sometimes too. The KK in the service stations are not any better then anything else, so I understand that.
Anyway, it doesn't matter. We all like different things and thats cool! I deleted the quote.

I used to frequent the Krispy Kreme in Goldsboro, but it closed... I've actually seen the Krispy Kreme challenge in person. Didn't know it was going on but we were riding by and there were guys running into and out of the Krispy Kreme at full tilt.

Cool.
Having some problems with my six flags meet on another forum. that's all
I could prolly do a KK contest. I have a large stomach and can polish off most anything really quick.

Thats awesome, Id definatly give that a shot...I justify eating a dozen doughnuts with running 4 miles afterwards

How could you possibly do it though? The sheer mechanics of it are mind-boggling. Down 12 donuts and then run, shaking your tummy up and down for 2 agonizing miles? Then again, the thought of me putting more than 2 donuts into my tummy at a time just doesn't make sense. Let's put it this way, my 2 year old son eats more than I do...LOL.

Sounds like the beer mile. There was a running event here recently where they would run a lap then drink a beer. I didn't go but the g/f said it was something aound 6 minutes for the winner. Run a lap, drink a beer, run another lap, drink beer 2, lap 3, beer 3, lap 4, something like that.
