Ok I was changin my transmission fluid today when i noticed the fluid from the transfer case was slowly dripping out of the front of my read driveshaft(where they meet) so i figure ok nothin and wipe it off cause i replaced the u-joints so i had the driveshaft off..but when I get home i go and take a look and it is back..So any ideas on what this could be??

It's possible that you damaged the seal on the transfer case tail housing when you reinstalled the driveshaft. I'd pull the driveshaft back out and replace the seal. Make sure to clean up the outside of the front yoke where it slides in the transfer case and rub some transmission fluid or motor oil on the outside of the yoke and on the inside of the new seal before you slide the driveshaft in. This will keep it lubricated so as not to damage it.

is this a high priotrity thing to fix?? or is it ok to wait like a week when i get some money??

It really depends on how much it is leaking. If you keep an eye on the transfer case fluid level, you should be fine. I'd atleast give it a quick top off and it should be ok.

its jus a lil drip drip..not like pourin drips..jus a drip every now and then so i should be good...im changin the transfer case fluid tomorrow anyway.. and what is the exact name for that seal??
