I traded a 1990 plymouth laser w/ 213000 mi on it for a 1993 S10 Blazer Lt vin w w/ 180000 miles on it. I needed something to pull my 1959 Skagit runabout 14' fiberglass boat around that I am restoring. I have only had the truck for about a month. First thing I did was a major tune-up. Bosh platinum iridium fusion plugs, borg warner wires, cap rotor, k&n drop in. It didn't have a stereo at all so I installed one. I have two ancient Kicker comp. 10's powered by a pawn shop lightning audio 600 watt amp. I am in the process of playing catchup on all the maintenance that should have been done over the blazers life-span that has been neglected. So far I have replaced driver window lift motor, O2 sensor, stereo, rear hatch latch and lock cylinder. I just got the hoses for the remote located oil filter and oil cooler. I will replace them when I replace the radiator which is leaking also. The truck is running VERY rich. I am in the process of figureing out what the cause is. I am new to the forum scene, this being the first I have ever participated in and am eagerly looking forward to learning from you all and offering what ever I can contribute as well.
