little help please....

for anyone who has a 2000 Blazer or around that year, can you tell me what the heck is supposed to be at the back of the middle console between the two seats?? On the back of it, theres a gaping hole there... NO idea what was there to even order it! Just see this hole on the back of the console, sort of facing the two rear seats... little help?

Should be the vents for the rear seat passengers. I'll grab a pic when I get home. Maybe a bit different than whats in my Bravada, but I don't think it'll be a drastic difference.

haha! thanks!!! i'll wait for the pic before i show it to the dealer. THEY thought it was an ashtray until they ordered this one ashtray and it wasnt right at all. so now they are like "wow i have no idea"... stupid. so that leaves me to have to figure it out.

Mine is probably different due to the factory 6 disc cd changer in the center console compartment... Could have sworn that I remember vents being in there in other blazers, but a cup holder sounds right too...

idk whats there on mine...i dont sit back there and i usually dont drive ppl around so no one else ever sees it either...as a matter a fact my seats are usually down...i like it better

i think mine has an ashtray, maybe the dealer ordered the wrong one... idk though ill try to get a pic ASAP

There is a plastic insert. Bought my truck used it was under the rear seats, it wouldn't stay in (bad tab), and I bought a new one from GM. On imports maybe there was an ashtray there? and I'm pretty sure if you had the optional rear audio controls (Bravada) that's where they were located Went and pulled mine out, top line is: 15718163 - AN and I have (midnight blue/charcoal grey?) interior

hahahah yeah well that peice missing even though i cant see it ... it'll bother the heck out of me!!! So at least its ordered now. :) slowly working on peices to make it right, then I'll work on "upgrades" next.

It could be for rear seat audio controls.
 

I bumped that stupid tab when vacuuming and one of the stupid tabs came off, so now mine is just a hole. stupid fragile garbage.
