Hello all.. i have recently purchased a short cold air intake for my 1999 blazer 4.3L i think that i have seen people on hear say that they have hollowed out the mass air flow senser???? i dont kno if i understood them correctly or not... i was just woudering what that ment and what it does if it is a good thing... thank you

Hi ya, I am wondering if it means to remove the "honeycomb" screen. I've done that when I had the stock MAF sensor in the truck.

It has been discussed before and I for one will never remove the screen.
