i just bought a 89 blazer with a 4.3 in it. i am wondering what all can i do to the engine or if theres any engine swaps i could you.

Welcome! Being an '89 4.3L TBI, you could swap over a 350 v8 with little modification to the main systems of your truck.
JTR - S-series v8 Swap, will give you some information on what is needed.
