Naming my Blazer?

I was wondering if people still name there cars and or trucks. You know like a girl name or is this totally out of date? I know they used to do this back in the golden days but is it common now or not? I had a few names already and I feel that a person is close to a "person" then just a car. Let me know what you think.

I named my Blazer "Edna Bambrick"

After this lady, "she" was a troll on Yahoo Answers before the Yahoo nazis banned the account, they also delete any questions asking about her.

I named my old Geo Tracker "Leeloo"

I refer to my Cougar as "My old lady". Not technically a name.

My 87 Blazer was also known as Charlie  And my Mazda's Name is Lil Car

I'll giver her multi-something, but it might not be passes! lol

"Lily"... thats my Blazer's name.  :)

Every car I've ever had has had a name... here's my list:

1989 Ford Taurus: "Amanda" (Boston Song)
1996 Chysler Sebring: "Hollyanne" (another Boston Song)
1988 Pontiac Trans Am: "Chance"
1985 Toyota Celica: "George"
1994 Saturn SC2: "Turtle"
2000 Chevy Blazer: "Lily"

And there ya have it.  :)

I have never named any of my cars, I just never understood that much of a bond with an object.


If I were to name my blazer, It would have to be Tina Turner........Both are beat up.

Well I like the name Tess for my Blazer kind of exotic. But I was really looking for a name I can pin to a song o well I guess I will figure it out and Now I kinda want to watch the 5th element thanks guys

I called my old S10 "****piece"

sure people name their cars..the sundance was the b_tch..the cavilier was lazurus..the other one was balls...kia..black tin can of death...in fact...the blazer is the first car I haven't really come up with a "nick name" for...I just call her good girl....or such phrases as "oh who's the good girl?" "you dirty dirty girl!"

well i call my blazer the bomb..cause something is blowing up on it every week...lol

Well, I named my blazer "Kandi" as in Kandi paint not the girl working her way through medical school at your local strip club! Although Kandi is very hot and I did date her for a short time....hmmm I have some singles in my pocket......be back in an hour!!!

i call my truck my "Monster Truck" cause thats what my kids call it and it just kinda stuck. Except when it leaves me standed on the side of the highway then i call it other things i cant say on this forum

OK, so I got curious about this and went to Yahoo! Answers and asked the question of who she is. I'll keep you updated on whether or not it gets deleted.

of course my blazer has two names - one is after my mom's who we called "Big G" because she was the oldest sister still living at the time and sometimes  just call her Queen

Well BigGreen is right the Yahoo! Nazis deleted 2 of the 3 questions about "Edna" that I asked less than 30 minutes ago. Interesting.......

I hate Yahoo answers. I've posted on a bit usually when I'm bored. What I hate is how selective they are in deleting "inappropriate content". I've had my stuff deleted and some other guy who would answer with something even stupider than mine won't be deleted. And a couple times I've had my answer deleted for "not giving a real answer" when the question being asked wasnt a real question (which is why I didn't give a real answer. Did the question get deleted? Hell no!
