I have a '96 blazer with composite headlights.  Last night, i decided 2 take a drive with my friends to dark places, such as parking lots, alleys, etc.  I tried to aim the headlights, but it's not a very easy thing.  For some reason, the headlights look like two separate beams on the ground.  It isn't one complete piece of light on  the ground.  And then, i would aim the low beams correctly, then when i would put the high beams on, they would be totally off.  Does anyone have any tips, or suggestions u could give me?  Also, is it normal for the headlights to be two separate beams?

Generally, the light pattern of each light is supposed to overlap a bit in the middle... adjust your horizontal screws so the lights start aiming inwards... At least for the low beams, on my old '85, when I had aftermarket housings, the highbeam was a little different than stock...
