I have a 97 blazer LT and when i try to turn the key the starter will turn the engine but it takes like 10 secs for the engine to turn whats up

sounds like the solenoid on your starter is going bad or the connection between your switch and starter is losing power somewhere along the wire. Pull the starter and have it tested. good luck.
