Anyone know a site where I can pick up a good set of chrome nerfs for my '98 Blazer ZR2?

check local places too. around where i live, there are a lot of different TINT/SECURITY/TRUCK ACCESSORIES shops around and most of them were cheaper than online. also, shipping might be a killer. the box is HUGE, although, i have a 4dr so mine are a bit longer than 2dr

does anyone know why they are called nerfbars?  i always called them running boards or step-bars.  when i hear NERF i think of those uber-cool foam footballs and guns

EDIT: WIKIPEDIA saves the day

I must be getting old. While I was growing up nerf bars were the small tubular bars that replaced the bumpers - mostly on Volkswagons or dune buggies, but they look pretty good on AC Cobras too (what doesn't?).

Not getting old cause thats what I've always heard refered to as nerf bars. The side steps or rock guards go on the sides of trucks.
