Hey everyone I am new here and if I had to classify myself for you I'd say that I am more of the offroading type. I was born, raised, and live in Houston, TX. I just got rid of my old ford rig
I know everyone hates fords hear... I used to be on
www.explorerforum.com website all the time and they gave me a lot of **** for buying this chevy. Well I guess this is my new home.
I bought the Blazer last week and so far all I have done is torsion and add-a-leaf lift with 31x10.50 BF Goodrich All-Terrains.
Here is my rig...
I have big plans for this truck and I'm glad to be here. You will be seeing a lot of me here.

If its an American made truck I'm down with it... anything else I'll talk down about. I really am a chevy man mostly because I've grown up around nothing but chevys. One thing I want to do to my blazer is the cowl hood like the one in your signiture. How much did you pay for that hood and did you order it with paint?

We have had members sell their truck and we still like to keep 'em around!
JST4SHO - an add-a-leaf is a lift where does exactly what the name says, basically. You add a spring or two to your existing ones to get a lift.

welcome aboard! I dont think you'll have a lot of "Ford vs. Chevy" here. My sister had three Explorers and loved all of them. She leased the first two, gave the first one back because the buyout was too much, the second one she just hated the color but they had nothing else to give her.. .and the third she bought. All three, great trucks.
Anyways, I dont see why the Explorer guys would give a hard time... I would figure that if your happy, they should just be happy for ya... ya know?

About $600.00 (1-piece steel...from Goodmark Industries...a GM official restoration part) You do have to paint it after you get it.

As far as Ford or Dodge or whatever vs Chevy, I don't care what you drive...it's your ride!
