Just bought my first Blazer, a 1996 LT with a very loud, loose rod and bearing-shaved crank 4.3 Vortec.  I bought the truck because I have never rebuilt a motor and wanted to learn.  Everything that I have done with vehicles has been everything but the guts of a motor.

As for me, I am in the Air Force and stationed in Anchorage, AK.  I am originally from Michigan and my last assignment was in Warner Robins, Georgia.

So, any other AK members?

Welcome!  You're the first AK member that I know of, but check the sticky in this section for the member map.

Yeah i'm pretty much the only person in Washington... And I see, probably 15 blazers daily up here... They're literally everywhere, probably the most common car I see. Welcome
