my name is charlie.
im 21 and from kamloops BC.
I've driven blazers for years at dealerships, and to tell the truth drove the living piss out of them...
Now I own one.
I had a Nissan Skyline until Oct. 27 2006, when braking hard on the highway to avoid hitting a dumbass honda driver... a 3/4 ton dodge truck didnt even hit the brakes when he hit me. And there went my hot lil' sports car. (even though i am a die hard muscle car loving import hater... i was in love with this car, and I still get razzed and get dirty looks from the family for "crossing over to the dark side") It was time to get a family vehicle cause with a second kid on the way... well I thought that 2 car seats in a skyline wouldnt work too well (was proven wrong - can provide pics). So I got a blazer. It is a 1996 Chev Blazer 4 door. Got in at the end of november 2006, it had 110,000 kms. Only modifications it has to date are a screen front, K&N air filter, and vent visors. I recently went with a more aggressive LT stock size tire, they look ok. I have a ginormous hole in my stock muffler, and keeping true to my ways... every repair is a possible upgrade. So I am planning my new exhaust system as we speak.
well thats enough about me for now...

What year skyline was it?   It's probably my favorite car (next to a Blazer of course....).

Welcome! My husband would envy you...he loves the Skyline, and most other Nissan sports cars. He put a Silvia front end on his 240sx, did all the work himself from scratch, took 2 years. The motor swap comes next week. It's very weird being married to someone who loves "the dark side" so much...LOL

i bought the car back and am parting it out
hard to see it all completely ripped apart and smashed.
im having a tough time selling the motor... so if it doesnt sell im swapping it into a 240... its bolts up.. soo awesome
but im hoping my coilovers sell soon so i can do a body lift, exhaust, and wheel spacers when i do my ball joints in the blazer
i have caught the car modding bug so bad... i swear my half-wife hates me sometimes...
her opinion will change tho when the modded car in my garage changes from a skyline to a 69 camaro... ... soon enough

OUCH! man that just sucks.  glad to have ya aboard and glad that you didnt get hurt.  That car looks squished.  ugh!

ill get some blazer pics soon... once its done at the body shop (rearended by a civic... no luck i tells yah - funny story... 27 is my unlucky number) all i have is pics for the insurance company from the accident. once she is all shined up ill snap some artsy fartsy pics for y'all. the grey one is my friends GTR... those are grarage Impul wheels. One the the rarest wheels in japan. My black one had alot of paint work done when it came into canada.
