Thanks for all the comments!! I'm pretty excited to get going on it. I've never been able to leave any of my cars completely stock so I figure why would this one be any different. I'm usually into the go-fast parts though as I've had a Camaro Z28 an AWD Turbo Eagle Talon and a ZQ8 S10 that were all pretty quick in retrospect. This has got to be the "family wagon" daily driver and all around utility vehicle but that doesn't mean it can't look good too. I'm currently focused on finding a nice set of wheels for it. I'd like some 18x8's or 18x8.5's for it if possible. Nothing too drastic and they'll have the same height as stock so that I don't have to flash the computer for a different tire size. I just got plates for it on Tuesday night but I haven't been driving it since I brought it home. I'm waiting to do some necessary maintenance before putting it into daily use. The transmission needs flushed and I'll fill it back up with Dextron 6 (GM's new transmission fluid, reduces wear by 200% over Dex 3!!). I'll also be putting the new shocks on, checking for any coolant leaks (which it has a slight one), changing the intake gaskets, and installing new door pins since the front doors sag. Other than that and a quick oil change with some Mobil 1 and drivetrain fluid checks it's ready to go!!
And I almost forgot, I retained a lot of my aftermarket stereo components from my last car as well so they'll be going in too. They include:
(2) 12inch Pioneer single voice coil subwoofers in a sealed box
one set of 6.5inch 2-way Pioneer door speakers
and a Pioneer Premier DEH-P640 receiver with all the goodies
I still have to buy a new amplifier and another set of door speakers to finish it out but that will be here soon enough. For now I'm satisfied with the stock CD player and 5 speakers (one door speaker is not working in the back door) until I collect everything. Thanks for looking!!

I should have them on by tomorrow night so I'll let you know how they are. Regular price is right at $200 for all four at Advance Auto Parts and they're the best ones that Monroe offers.

Scratch that. I have to postpone the shock install for a bit. They'll be on by Tuesday though. Last night I flushed the transmission and put the new stuff in. I greased all the greasable joints (even the ones it appears nobody bothers to get). Some of the joints were completely empty. Probably because the places the previous owner took the truck to never bothered to take the plastic skid plate down to get all the steering parts lubed. We did a coolant pressure test as well and the intake is leaking pretty good so that's getting replaced this weekend with the shocks and new door pins on the drivers door. I think other than that we should be doing good and it should be ready for daily commute on Tuesday.
On a side note the ABS light came on after the transmission flush and the fuel tank sender has started acting up. I"m sure I know what the fuel tank sender problem is (there are two conductivity tabs on the sender in the tank, they sometimes burn off after being on that electrical connection for so long) but the ABS light is stumping me a bit. I'll have to get it up on the rack again sometime soon and see what I can find. I'm hoping its something stupid like an ABS harness came unplugged while we were greasing the joints.
