Here are different views of the K-D Tools (No. 6233113) Fan Clutch/Pulley Remover/Tool. I hope that these uploarded correctly and that some of you will benefit from them. This particular tool is:
23" long
Pivots @ 14"
Slots in the business end are 5/8ths" wide @ about a 55* angle off the straight edge and 180* opposed from one another.
Flat stock is 7/8ths" in width and 1/8th" thick.
The nut that is on the back of the fan clutch is 1 3/8th" in width or there abouts. I just took a Snap-On open end, just kidding, took a cheap Taiwanese open end wrench (1 1/4") and put it up into a vise and took the makita to it until the sucker fit. The tool kit come with two different flat wrenchs and I just took the appropriate one, laid it over the Taiwanese wrench and with a pencil thin Sharpie marker, highlighted the two sides where it had to be relieved to.
Gave it hell, used a bastard (file, hehehe) to clean it up and it worked like a charm.
The other tool that had to be fabed will be applied one way to remove and flipped over to install as the angle of the slots grooved into it will only hold one way and it depends on which way you are going. So be aware of that if you make one of these up for yourself to be used and have never done so before.
Anyway, hope this helps alot of you. My little payback so far to the ones that have help me or slapped me when I needed it.
