LOL, Welcome and glad you got the heater core issue resolved. They can be a bear. One thing that is good about your blazer is that you don't have to mess with the A/C system. So many other vehicles you have to disconnect the A/C inorder to get the heater core out and replaced! Now that sucks!

Welcome. I got a 2000 s10 4.3 4x4 (electronic). also mostly my wife's. I just started my own (sorry if this is spam!) forum site (only one user so far, it's new) for stuff like that also. I was lucky with my heater core and a couple of other things. I still got an extended warranty that covered the core and the other stuff they did. I've replace a few cores in my time tho, the last one being on my 88 mustang lx 5.0. that was a beeeitch!. all for naught tho, I totalled it out in june. now I got a 91 s10 blazer 2x4 for my new project.
post some pics of the blazer and those 2 sweet rods you got!
just checked ya'ss site out. you must be t-man. those are some sweet rides. must be fun. I wish I still had my old 72 el camino. the one in ya'lls group is fine! The one I had years ago was 72 402 400th. My wife wants an oldie so bad, but maybe soon we can get us one.....a driver that we can restore...anyways, ya'll got some nice cars and trucks there.

Nice! My father-in-law has a '49 Merc that you can see
here. I get to go to a few car shows and see some sweet rides. He runs a big one in Toronto and one here in Oshawa that his car club organizes.

Welcome to the site! I love classic rides like those. When I get older I want to fix one up as a weekend car!

Ok...I'm better, after I cleaned up the keyboard and monitor. My Dad and I are in the process of restoring a '28 chevy 4-door, all orig. I'm now looking for a 30-32 chevy 4-door to hot rod, and the sole reason is the louver-doors in the hood.
