Hi everyone,Im new here so I will tell you all a little about myself.Im 26 and currently enrolled at UTI and going to school for ford also.I have a son and have been married for 9 yrs.I am a ford guy but not biased only towards fords.I drive a 99 sho for a daily driver and a 88 thunderbird turbocoupe for my toy.Now that thats out of the way,my little brother is giving me a 91 s10 blazer, but it does not run.He says he thought the fuel pump went bad so he dropped the tank and found one of the wires on top of the sending unit broke off.I do not know if he broke the wire dropping the tank or the pump did puke out,I have not had a chance to look at it.Is the wire just getting corroded and breaking off common? Also its leking oil really bad I searched around and from what ive read the oli lines from the cooler leak,he says thats where the oil is leaking from underneath the carI just do not want to get it if the rear main is leaking.Im not to familier with GM so is this another common problem? What else should I look for?is ther any trans problems or transfer case problems suspension, brakes, electrical or anything else?I know the 4300 is a good strong engine.Im just going use it for a daily driver for school. Thanks in advance!

Hey welcome to the forum, future Blazer driver guy. I suggest posting your questions in the gen. tech area where they'll get more exposure/response.
How's the body on that Blazer?

welcome to the site. the most problem area with blazers is the ball joints go out, but thats really all that I can think of now.
