Okay now let's see if I can word this properly. Its about Paypal. I have a personal account(Basic) I don't have or do I want a credit card( i can get in trouble with that) Now is it faster to put money in the Paypal account then its there when i wanna buy something or is it faster to electronic transfer right from my account( personal Bank). I Bought something off someone and it is gonna almost a week before it is gonna clear(it was a instant transfer from my Bank). I can't see paypal always taking this long to pay someone or no one would use it. Gotta be an easier way or at least faster. Paypal doesn't seem to want to answer my question maybe one of you can.

I know when you make a payment from your bank account as the source of funds, it should be an instant payment. Although it does take paypal a couple days to actually withdraw the funds from your account. But when you send the payment the other person should have it in their paypal account pretty much instantly.

Nope. It came out of my bank a couple days later but it still hasn't cleared on his end. Said something on the paypal ste to have your address verified by credit card, but as I said in my earlier post i don't have or want one. That can't be whats stopping it is it?? I'm lucky he is so patent on the other end of this deal.

Maybe I'll have to get some real restraint and get one. Might be hard not to spend though HAHAHAHA

I believe once your paypal account is verified it'll transfer instantly from a checking acct. ----> could be wrong though

The credit card is like an insurance policy. I know when I run low on money in paypal and it transfers from my bank account it transfers instantly. But that may because its setup using it as a credit card (depit card). But when depoist money into my paypal it takes 3-4 days.

I wouldn't know..I have only used it 3 times..and never had a problem...I used my debit card I think on it.....as for getting a credit card...don't!!!!I made it 27 years with out any credit...or major depth....so don't get one until you really need one!

i only pay through paypal using a credit card. paypal isnt exactly great at giving you your $ back on a bad transaction, the credit card gives you an added layer of protection that a bank account transfer won't.
...theres nothing wrong with credit cards as long as you use them correctly. dont spend what you dont have and there isnt a problem.

absolutely...I have a card...my point is there are a lot of people with crazy credit card debt..and if it were that easy about not spending what you don't have then there wouldn't be so many people with ruined lives due to debt
