Anyone got one? I got one and mine just died on me. it stopped reading disc's, im not sure how i havent really played it in a couple weeks and i just played crash bandicout that i downloaded. Anyone else have this happen to them if they have ps3? and if you did, how did u fix it? Thanks =)

Parents foster kid got one for Christmas. Less than 10 hours of use, same thing happened! GO SONY!!

yeah it sucks but luckily i still have my receipt and connections at where i bought it so they are going to let me exchange it and get a new one but i am losing all my saved games so that part of it sucks.

i had mine for 1 week n returned it..it wouldnt work on some tv"s and it was no better than the 360 so i didnt want it

could've just bought the appropriate cables, but then again it is a pointless system to have if you don't have the HDTV to enjoy it in all it's glory

I personally never buy any of the "new gen" gaming systems till they have been out for a year or so. Gives them some time to fix all the bugs and saves me some money lol.

Better buy a PS3 for that before the price skyrockets...
It's the cheapest blu-ray player on the market.
And Time-Warner just went blu-ray exclusive... That pretty much concludes the format war.
Good thing MS can just make a USB blu-ray drive for the 360

my girlfriend and i's PS3 is working fine...it froze a couple times playing Assassins Creed, and its not connecting to the internet wirelessly right now and idk why. But thats it. Otherwise no problems.

because Assassin's Creed only likes to be played on the 360

my brother has had nothing but problems out of his xbox 360. i haven't heard anybody having problems oout of the ps3. this is the reason why i never run out to get the first batch of the new consoles. i usually wait at least a year

I have one and its under warranty. It absolutely refused to read my old Rally Cross 3 game... but other than that its worked perfectly.
Lets not start a war over why XBox360 is better than PS3... we all know what happens to your game if you move the XBOX around a little while you are playing...
I like my PS3. The controller is laid out much better than the Wii and the 360, the graphics are amazing with the Blu-ray, the 80 gig hard drive is great, the motion sensor stuff is cool. The only thing I do not like is the fact that I'm paying 10 dollars more per game.

I love sixaxis (with the right game though) ps3 is also way more asthetically pleasing to look at and display above the T.V.

well i got a new one, jus returned my old one for a new one and i bought a 2 yr warranty to so if it happens again i am covered =)

It's not the Blu-ray that gives it better picture quality...
From what I hear, HD DVD has a much better, pimped out DVD menu...
