I put this vehicle in the shop 3 different places. We replaced fuel injectors and cleaned them. The vehicle starts and runs fine. After driving to town (10 miles) and going to the grocery store (30 mins) it will not start. If you drive into the city (1 hour) it may completely shut down on the freeway. I will have to pull over and it will not start. You can go back to the vehicle 1-2 hours later and it will start and run. So, when you take it to the shop, it runs fine and they can't find anything wrong with it. They suggest fuel system problems. I feel like something is overheating, possibly electrical. I would appreciate any help....Please

Has the ignition control module (ICM) been tested? Not starting when hot sounds like its symptom.
And to the Forum.

I would have to agree on the ICM.  You can remove it and take it to Autozone or Advanced Auto and have them test it.  Have them test it atleast 10 times to get it good and hot.  If it passes all tests, then it is good and we'll need to move on to something else.

i had a problem like that for about 6-9 months - it didnt "die" while until the last month, which made me finally fix it

my problem was that it would or wouldnt start based on how it "felt"
there was no correlation to hot/cold, dry/hot, humid, etc

what it ended up being was that the fuel pump relay connection was "loose"
not the relay itself, but the jack on the bottom of the relay box where a cluster of wires came in

best of luck
