I gotta gripe.... bare with me.
So i worked on my blazer today. I am currently in the process of replacing/repairng old and broken things. The warm air intake the PO put on it was installed wrong, it came of and the alternator pulley rubbed a whole in it. This is also besides the fact that the iat and whatver the other sensor on the stock box arent hooked up. The fan shroud was broken and when i hit a bump it hit the fan.... The Coolant is probably the original from the factory. The oil was almost mud. I havent done the tranny or the differentials yet... im scared to. the belt is so worn it has to be original. I keep finding remnants of a poorly installed alarm. The stereo wiring is killing me and the AC was a little too full. I think thats all i fought with today! Anyone else ever wonder if the person who your car before you should have had a license!!!

Oh man. I have had cars like that. I had a Galant that had the sorriest stereo wiring I had ever seen. I used to be a MECP installer back in the early 90's, and I would have to say the wiring I found in this car was a fire hazard. 4 gauge wire ran to the trunk, bare-ended, no fuse...... People without a clue shouldn't work on cars. Should be law. I feel your pain man. Luckily, my blazer was owned by a co-worker I had known for 5 years, and he is in his 60's, and a competent mechanic, so I got lucky. Good luck man.
