I'm looking at a 97 and 98 LT Blazer, is there one i should lean towards? The 98 hass 100,000 miles on it and the 97 I think has 118,000. Both look to be pretty clean inside and out. I dont know much about Blazers at all, but need a reliable winter vehicle.

I would say the 98 depending on condition of both of course. 97 still had the old interior and grille while 98 went to the newer interior and grille. If there's a vast difference in price then I would go for the 97 because it's the same truck, just not as fancy.

Welcome to the forum!
98. If you ever wanted to do some customizing to the grille or headlights, its much easier.

Some may say its difficult to qualify a Blazer as "reliable." Keep in mind you aren't exactly getting a Toyota here. Great engine and tranny, just a lot of little to semi-little things happen with these trucks. 100k is also a good mile range for some components to fail too if they haven't been replaced already.
