Currently I am using my Astovan to work out of. I still like the van, but it is too small. It needs few things, including getting the rear gate fixed, currently it doesn't open, which is a pain in the ass to work with. The major thing is the size though. I just do not have enough space to carry all the supplies I need to do my job correctly. I went last night to check out a 1993 Ford E-350. It has 108,000 miles. It seems to be in pretty decent shape.
Today, I had the mechanic check it out. He said it seems like a good truck, but does have some stuff that needs attention. It has a radiator that is leaking, a few other various leaks and stuff, as well as needing a full tune up. Approximate price to repair and tune up is about $1500 he said. Asking price is $2700, the guy said he would do $2500 after the mechanic told us what it needed. What do you guys (especially the car buffs that seem to know a thing or two more about this stuff than me)? I have some pictures of the van too if you want to see.

I guess that's pretty low milage for a 14 year old van. If that's the vehicle that would suit your needs and it's in your price range, I guess it would be alright.
I haven't worked on a ford in years. What's the engine size, 5.0L or 5.8L?
When I buy a vehicle I like to consider price, my needs and what I think I could get for it if I chose to sell it.
That's my 2 cents.

It's got the 5.8l. I am not as concerned with the price i would get if I sold it. I am more concerned with the fact that once I put the money into getting it running properly now, that it will not cost me a lot more in the future. I just need a reliable van for work. This is much bigger then my Astrovan, so that alone is what suits my needs.

Looks good, I hope it works out well for you.
I'd have to go and make it like the movie Old School. Black it out, put some side pipes on it. It'd make me laugh....
