do the lenses of a first gen come apart similar to that of the 2nd gen? i was thinking of having halos and have them wired to a switch to turn them on and off cuz i think blue ones would look tight w/ a lil bit of angle to them.
If you have the ebay H4 covos yes they come apart the same way. You can get ones with the halos but the ones for ours follow the outside square shape and look more goofy than the normal halos. If you must try them just stay away any ebay H4 projector lights or any with a black housing. Since I've jacked this thread enough if you want to know why start a new one or PM me.

lol u can prolly out run them a lil better too lol
Blazers with a stock 4.3L can't out run a cop car
Off-road isn't much help, as we've got 4x4s on crew... a 2007 F150, a 2003 3/4 Crew Cab chevy, and a 2008 Diesel F350 Crew Cab.
lol i ment his Z and friends R1. and they prolly cant out run one on regular road
We don't get those in my city...
Besides, most of the trucks out here could probably give a ZR1 a run for its money in a straight line

Well Dennis I FINALLY got ONE headlight apart. Spent about 1.5 hours fiddling with it. Tried it at 200, 250, 300, 325. Eventually it was in the oven for about 20-30 mins @ 325. Found the best way to get the lens up was to insert a putty knife and drag it around the sealant to remove it. Screwdrivers were not working and the glass just kept chipping. I will be taking pics when I do the other one. I want to get this one headlight done first.

I didn't have the 300 degree option... I don't have glass
The melting point of the plastic is like 225...
The sealant starts getting softer @ 185
