That's where mine is too...I am not sure if I prefer it there or if I would want it mounted on the gate...

i think it looks nicer without the spare on the outside. thats just me though so

I agree that they look better, plus you get that trunk space back again...the only thing I wouldn't like is the squeaking that they seem to cause...

my nonner came with it mounted inside, and i moved it to the garage....i figure that if it gets a flat i wil leave it there and cut my losses...

i agree with patrick my spare is soon to be non existent... lol cause god knows if i get a flat with my new wheels im not putting a stock one back on just tacky lol

OOOOOH...I like those! I unfortunately just had to replace my back window (someone threw a beer bottle through it at Redneckfest), so now I am in the hole for all the stuff I wanted to get done...

Well, she paid for it...I got it for $150 installed in my driveway...not a bad deal...except it has no tint so I have to get that done.

That is where my spare is also. I have an extra 18-inch Boyd wheel so I'm gonna have the spare tire mounting brackets chromed and mount my Boyd back there. I need to have a longer threaded bar made because my wheel and tire are wider than the spare.

I needed the space inside, so I moved my spare to the lugage rack and its held in place by a rachet strap. Yes this is on my off-road toy.

moonwater...you mentioned AAA...getting that for my truck would cost more per year than my old truck is worth...
