After how many miles should you change plugs in 98 Blazer ?

If they are the stock plugs, anytime between 60,000 and 100,000 miles. The AcDelco Platnium plugs have a 100,000 mile warranty on them. What amount of miles do you have on your blazer? Are you experiencing worse gas mileage that started after or before the gas stations switched to serving winter blend gasoline? Also are there any other symptoms your blazer is having, or just wanting to know? It really depends on if you want to tackle the task of changing them and/or if you think it is benefical prevenitive maintence.

I wouldn't call it a warranty... More of an expected service life.

Sorry for the threadjacking, but whats the difference between a normal ac delco spark plug, and the ac delco rapid fire sparkplug? Other than 2 bucks a pop....

Not sure what you are classifying as the 'normal' ac delco plug...
When comparing the Rapid Fire Platinum plug to the Professional Platinum plug, the difference is that the Professional plug has a platinum tipped ground electrode as well as a platinum center electrode. Check
THIS out.
A double platinum plug will last longer than a single platinum plug and much longer than a conventional plug.

I never found it to be that difficult, but the steering shaft can be a pain on some.

Only #3.
Helps to take off the tire on the drivers side, and still #3 can be a pain.

The box that the new AcDelco plugs came in said it had a 100,000 mile limited warranty. Yeah I would use that more as a service life interval. I replaced mine at 130000 miles which seemed like they might have been replaced at 60,000 - 80,000 miles (still had good life but I was bored and didnt think #3 would be to hard, boy was I wrong). That number 3 plug is hard if you don't have the right tools available for you, and it seems like a different combination of tools works differently for everyone's truck. Definately take the wheel off on the drivers side, it makes it easier if you take both the front wheels off as you have more access and space to work in.
