Umm a lot of people use and like ac delco plugs. I use them my self and they seem good however I have never noticed a boost in performance after changing plugs.

Get out there and drive so that you can give us a good report....
I have heard of problems created by many types of spark plugs in the blazers, I have never heard of a problem using A/C Delco plugs. I use A/C plugs in all my GM vehicles.

Platinum is for longetivity. Copper works well on boosted/superchatged engines.

I use AC Delcos cause they worked great for me.

My bud installed iridiums on his 2.4 litre Cavvy. kinda of a waste.

I switched to NGK Platinums. I have not had any problems related to them but then I don't think I will, I have heard that they build AC/Delco for GM...

Iridium plugs are not hype.  The center electrode can be made to a much finer point than platinum which will create a much more consistent spark.  More consistent spark = more efficient spark.

The main problem with iridium plugs is that the more affordable iridium plugs have a nickel ground electrode which has an expected life of around 30-40k miles.  The more expensive versions have the iridium center electrode with platinum tipped ground electrodes and these can last upwards of 80k miles.

For my Bravada, I have AC Delco double platinum plugs.  In my Bonneville (Supercharged 3800), I have always run NGK V-Groove plugs and changed them every year.  Next year I am making the switch over to NGK Iridium IX plugs and will probably just keep an eye on them as to their life.
