Lots of people, and I mean lots love just the sound. The added performance is just the bonus. Making their car sound like it has a turbo and have every one turn their heads is what they are looking for. I have tons of friends who want a turbo just for the sound. Some ways it’s pathetic, but I don’t know if the sound of a turbo on a blazer would sound good. I would rather like the low end rumble from a super 40 series.

In my mind, I love the V8, 4 barrel, 4speed with headers and a lumpy cam sound.
If I wanted a fake turbo, I'd jam a couple of dry wheel bearings in my tailpipes....lol

Amen brother. I take every chance i get to yell at ricers. I live in Detroit, so we have the woodward dream cruise, and every year, i can't talk the day after, because they always show up in full d-bag force. I like the sound of a turbo, but wouldn't it be apparent that its coming from the exaust tip, not the engine bay?!
