I'm not new, but my Blazer is. It's a '95 and I love it. I have some technical questions which I'll post elsewhere, but I am thoroughly impressed with this truck!

I still have the '91. I want to take it off-roading and beat the crap out of it. The engine's already shot-may as well have fun with it! Here's an updated picture of it (half primered)

There's only one chip in the paint, which I'll address right away. It's got 122,000 miles on it. I get a little vibration at 65. The engine is quiet, no ticks. Actually the whole thing is quiet-I'm not used to that, my '91 makes so much noise (engine and wind when your on the highway) I got a good deal, there's things that probably need replacing though - poss right ball joint? For the money, I'm extremely happy with it.
