I bought a toggle switch at autozone. Albeit a cheap one, it is billet and has a blue led on the end of the switch shaft. I mounted the switch. No problems there. I hooked the foglights to it ground and power, jumped the ACC prong to the gauge power so the switch would come on with the headlights, flipped the switch... LED comes on and foglights don't, but my parking lights came on.... figuring out that by jumping the ACC on the switch to the gauges....well I made a mistake... I went back and swiched everything. Same deal, except when I turned the parking lights on, the foglights came on as well. Fixed that too by unhooking the ACC wire, then nothing would work. Finally I figured out that the ACC and Power were marked incorrectly.  So if you buy a Pilot Billet Azure LED Toggle switch, be warned that the stickers may be backward.

Anyway. Does anyone know of somewhere I can piggyback the LED to make it come on only when the vehicle is on or only when the switch is on? Preferably on the left side of the vehicle. I have the switch mounted on the headlight panel.

if its a three prong LED toggle it should be a very simple wire up...

+12v - Constant 12v Power

ACC - To fog lights

GND - To Ground

This config should turn on your fog lights with the switch, and the LED should only come on when the lights are switched on...

The labels on these switches are a little akward. They make sense but they dont correspond with your everyday 12v addons. The PWR and ACC are basically your loop. take your hot wire for what you are wanting to turn on and cut it. Hook up the power souce side to the PWR prong, and the side going to the component to the ACC prong. The Ground prong is only there for the LED and is not necessary...
