Any pics with the lights on/brake lights? I used that on my 97 Monte for the side markers, looked great but with the lights on you could barely see them lit, so I used GTS blackouts do the tails. Anyway it looks good and no one can steal them like they do with the GTS ones

that is nice!!!! what exactly is the process for that....cuz i still have my old tails laying here.......
although im not sure if i can swap them again, 1st time I kinda stripped the screws that hold the tail light on

what do you guys use to take the screws out? because the "hydralic"(sp) for the tail gate is in the way......

u can remove the hydrolic peice with a flathead screwdriver. There's a thin metal strip that acts as a clip. Slide it under there and pull the strip out abit and then u can get to the screw after u remove the hydrolic

I found that is was easier to first loosen up the screws a little bit with an offset screwdriver, then take a pair of pliers to loosen the up the rest of the way. If the offset screwdriver you have doesnt fit just right it can become and aggervating process.

I just learned about that metal strip and poping it up to remove that brace thing on the tailgate. I always forced the screws in and out on my dads 97 blazer, but when i swapped a new set of tails onto my 02 blazer i figured i'd look for an easier way to get them out...and thats definately easier....
