I have a 1985 k5 with a 350 and 700r4. the tranny is toast and i was wondering if i could replace it with a turbo 400 or 350? im just wondering if the electrical in the 700r4 is connected to the truck somewhere and will make it run bad if i replace it with a different tranny. I know ill have to lengthen or shorten the driveshaft acordingly i was just wondering if I can run a th-400.
