Im gonna be traveling out to California for the AMA Motocross races tomorrow and its been a while since I've been on a plane. I was plannin on bringing a portable cd player and whatnot on with my carry-on for the trip.
I think I might have heard somewhere that they recently banned electronics and some other stuff. Is this true? and what else could they have banned that I might not expect?

i remember they did ban that item about a month ago but they MAY have lifted that ban. Bottled drinks are still banned if imnot mistaken cause thats what they were planning on using to mix the explosive or some crap.
Im sure if you check the TSA or TWA wutever the flight saftey website is its been awhile since i've been in the airport lol
This should help:
Airsafe Thats an updated list of what you can and cannot bring onboard.

I didn't look at that link in the previous post, but I've flown twice, through three big airports, since the whole liquid scare thing and I don't really notice anything different. They did get me w/ a bottle of water that I forgot when I was leaving Orlando, but the chick just took it out of my bag and tossed it! I did notice that it was a lot busier for the morning flights so I would heed the "get there two hours early" just in case. But aside from that, They were still letting laptops and mp3 players and such through, ya just have to turn it on to show that it is what it is...
