Has anyone else read about how unsafe Blazers are? I read that Chevy Blazers are one of the most unsafe vehicles on the road and have the highest percentage of related deaths...

yeah, i heard the 95+ 2 door 4wds have one of the highest rollover rates. thats why gm stopped making them. i actaully read that in last months mini truckin. thats why i like baggin trucks. you dont have to worry about rolling over...plus, im afraid of heights.

I read in last month's Mini Truckin that the 2 door Blazer had the highest driver death rate of any vehicle on the road.
I'm not worried, my Blazer can't flip lowered like it is. I'm like Zero, I have acrophobia

Some months ago I had an accident with my ZR2 but didn't get hurt. I just noticed that when you lose control of it you can forget about getting it back. In my opinion it doesn't behave like a normal jeep but more as a truck.
In the other hand I don't think it is that unsafe as they say 'cause if you get involved in an accident you will surely not be the one getting the car destroyed since it is quite solid...

Haha, you cant rollover in your lowerd blazer.... Haha, sorry man, no offense meant..... My name came from my most recent accident. I swerved to miss deer in the road in my 96' grand am gt... low as hell and on g-force z-rated tires.... The back axle broke lose and the car rolled..... 4 times twice in the air.
Oh yeah, and when did this claim turn on the blazers instead of the ford exploders? I think those are the worst!

well we can just learn from me. i owned a car and got t-boned. it hurt and now my car is gone. if i was driving my blazer
A it would have never happened cause i could have seen the rav-4 coming
B if i got hit the damage would have been 90% front left suspension and ould have been fixed. roll overs suck but can be prevented. other idiots hitting u not as controlable

Not far from where I live an explorer fliped at 65 mph. She swerved just a small bit. No more than a week ago is hen this happened. Here is the bad part. The back seat belt snapped and threw a baby in a car seat out the window. Baby died, mother died later in the hospital, and the father was listed in good condition two days ago.
Now, a few monthes ago in the same city I ive in a 97 Blazer was hit head on by a semi truck at 50 mph. The truck was trash as you would figure but out of the four people in the thing only one was injured. Back seat guy broke his nose on the front seat.
After seeing both of the wrecks in the paper and on TV, I have a little more trust in my blazer. Although it is a 91 I still feel better in it. I know it could roll and I know that it would hurt like hell but I also know that I am wrapped with a pretty tough ride.
