Hey all. Actually linked to here, in looking for reviews of a 2005 Blazer. Have been looking at one I'm thinking about buying really soon, so would love any and all feedback ASAP on this truck. Negative or positive welcome, as I need real advice, real soon. Thanks in advance...

What are gonna use it for, and what do you want to compare it to.
I'm a Chevy Lover, so I only have good things to say.
Drive one and see what you think, look around the technical help section and see what some of the common problems are, keeping in mind that almost any vehicle that has been proberly maintained and serviced, will last a long time with few problems.
Check out the photo gallery to see what some of the blazer lovers have done to their rides.

well i love mine so far......minus the gas mileage--it might as well be a brick going down the road.....but thats just an excuse to either drop in a v8 or go nuts with mods!

I looked and looked at many many many different vehicles....decided on the blazer...and am really glad I did! It has a few quirks....but most vehicles do...not all vehicles have the same issues....do some comparison just like ChevyLover said!

Well I have had the 2005 Blazer since Late October 2004. Never had a prob since (KNOCK ON WOOD........DONE) The first day i picked it up from the dealer I was trading in a 2000 Extreme Ext Cab(had a baby on the way so I had to) Well thank god I got it that day. It started to snow very heavily on the way there, when I got there I parked front ways down a hill against the curb. By the time I signed my life away it had snowed quite a bit they couldn't move the truck to take it to the back. I got to tow out my first time with the new truck

That night it had snowed ALOT MORE and a buddy and I were going out for a few drinks so he followed me to the bar. He had a 2004 4X4 Siarra at the time and he wouldn't follow me through some of the snowdrifts, but it handled like a dream and still does.
