I have a buddy that I told I would ask on here about his truck. He has a 95 S10 Blazer 2WD and he was running it and it over heated pretty bad. It shut off on him as he pulled to the side. Now he has it home and it wont crank (Just turns over) and he had to put water in the radiator. now when he trys to start in a stream of water come out of the exhaust. I told him sounded like head/heads has cracked. What do yall think?

Well, it sure doesn't sound good. I think that'd be a good guess...atleast in the right area. I had an old trans am that over heated on me pretty bad (due to a faulty gauge and a bad water pump) and I ended up replacing the heads. Does he have water in the oil also?

Definitely sounds like a blown headgasket to me.  Next step would be to pull the plugs.  If coolant comes out, you've found the problem.  If you don't find signs of coolant that way, a compression check would be the next order of business.

I'll be nice and not say anything bad about your friend.
