Here in Ohio It's $2.74 for 87 octane. Two days ago I filled up for $3.09. And yea If you don't have a HIGH-Compression engine you are wasting money on high octane fuel!

Right now were at 2.84. I think the lowest I remember it being was 1.23 a gallon. I doubt we'll ever see it go down past 2 bux ever again. Those gas trucks hold about 8,000 gallons of gas!!! Thats a lot of gas for a long time!

What they do is raise the gas prices really high for a couple weeks to get the people used to it. Then they drop it down so people are all excited and maybe save a few bucks up. Then when the time is right(Labor Day weekend im guessing) they will skyrocket prolly about 10-12 cents higher than before. At least thats what i've heard. Makes sense.

oh dont say that!!! i paid $2.79 the other day and I was wondering when the other shoe would drop! I wish there was a way to regulate what they are doing with the gas prices. I know on the Garden State Parkway any gas stations are only allowed to change their prices every certain amount of days. i just cant remember what the time limit is. so when the prices rose up, the were still cheaper cause they couldnt change it. now they are more expensive cause they are waiting to drop it.
