Hey I just got a 99 ls blazer with 62k on it, didnt pass inspection yet=(. dealer sucks. Anyways just checking in saying whats up.

Did you buy it from the dealership? If so, then I believe that they have to inspect it inorder for it to sell. If it does not pass, they have to repair anything that is causing it to not pass.

I did also got a 2year powertrain warranty. but the dealership has been giving me a runaround kinda. I am bringing it in on thursday to get the fails to pass. (Windshield & low Balljoints)

u should take it back to the dealer and MAKE THEM INSPECT IT, If it doesnt pass they HAVE to pay for anything to make it pass its in the law. so u can threaten a nice lawsuit on them

what did you pay for it? mileage is good for a 99! if we are all correct dealer will have to pay for it to pass inspection. call the dealership and ask the salesman for the number of the automotive bureau in your area THAT SHOULD LIGHT A FIRE UNDER THEIR BUTTS! and welcome aboard.

paid too much maybe? 9250$ plus 1250$ for the powertrain warranty(only option given)2yr 24000miles body is pretty much in good shape. the roof and undercarriage? make me beleive it was parked under a pine tree. sap on roof some rust underneath.

Well I got my truck back today with a nice new inspection sticker, New windsheild and ball joints and a keyless remote thrown in also they change a gasket near the oil cooler? It was having a funny smell after i would drive it a while. Im alot happier with the service dept than the sales from where I got it still will complain though ha.

welcome and i wish i had that service when iw ent to my dealer...i usually got the car back with more problems than it had going in
