I just got new tires, i thought i had a really loud front drivers side tire.  Well, it wasn't the tire.  The new ones do the same thing.  I walked in midas on my lunch brake and talked to him about it, i described as this: what do you guys think?

When i get up to speed the front drivers tire gets really loud and drives me nuts.  It sounds like i got 1 super swamper on.  When i turn the steering wheel to the right and turn, (say getting a sharp exit ramp)  it stops.  Only when im going strait and turn left it makes the noise, but when i cut it pretty good right it stops.

Could this be a wheel bearing?  I was thinking out of allignment, but don't know i don't think it would make the complete different tires the same noise level.

Anyway, i got directional tires on, so i just put the driver front on the back and the back on the front, im gonna see if the noise moves or stays in the front.

what do you guys think?  Im pretty good with tools, are the bearings hard to change?  Or is it worth a few hundred to take it to midas?

will report later to tell if noise moved or not!

Sounds like a wheel bearing to me.  It's definitely easy enough to change yourself if you're at all mechanically inclined: http://www.blazerforum.com/m_54421/tm.htm

how were your orig tires wearing?  inside more than the outside, vice versa.. A beasring will normally make a humming noise, or a clicking depending on the amount of grease its getting to lube it..I wish you lived near me i`d take a peek at it and save ya sum $$$$$$$$$$$
