I like my PIAA's.  I bought mine off ebay though for a lot cheaper.

Oh I know.  I'm retroing HID's for my blazer and was thinking about getting some HID driving lights as well.  Saw a few prices, decided against it.  I'll just pick up another pair of PIAA's for my blazer.

I don't like the KC Daylighters much.  They have this 'shock proof' mount on em that makes the light body sit up an extra 2 inches or so.  Looks like a golf ball sitting on a tee to me.  PIAAs are pretty well known for their quality and reliability...KCs I've heard is that every Wrangler out there has a pair mounted.

Havn't heard to much about those.  When I was looking for my lights, I didn't consider anything in that price range.  I would suggest looking for some rectangular lights.  I think a rectangular light matches with the body a little more than a circular light body does, but that's just an opinion of mine

Just got a Bull bar and lights and had gotten SRB Driving beams from jcwhitney well turned out to be crap and had trouble blowing the fuse and come to fine inside one of the lights the coating on the wires had rubbed off, causeing the shorts. Anyways a freind had those 1st kc's you linked and they looked like a** in a few months and then started blowing bulbs. Well, I picked up a pair of PIAA 520i'S Driving off of amazon for about the same as those KC's and they look amazing, and have the best mount, aim system I have seen for such lights. Anyways check out my install. Old lights pictured though havent taken new pics with the PIAAS on. Also just installed some black tyc tails that are awsome along with these cool led bars that are univeral and fit all cars made by putco.

I like the PIAA's, but holy expensive!! I like my $40 Pilots just fine with the chrome grills on them. I swapped the stock bulbs with silverstar H3's and I light up the road like daylight.

I would go with the PIAA's, I have heard great reviews of the quality and life of the PIAA lights. I have a pair of the PIAA1500 ION fog lights and they have been on 2 vehicles now with the original bulbs and look like day 1 except for a small chip that occured in the car totalling accident (the lights are about 4-5years old now). So if I get some lights I am going to get those PIAA 524/540's for offroad lights if I don't get the cheapy ones from walmart.

I haven't heard great reviews about the KC Daylighters, but I see them on practically every Jeep Wrangler.

The HiLites or whatever also would be a PITA since they're sealed beam... and 150W = short life.

I'm happy with my JetCo stuff... For the price it's pretty good...

I'm considering HID-ing my offroad lights...

And am probably goint to get some HID low beam projectors and make some HID fog lights.

wanna warn you about the daylighters with a safari bar.. I had 6 inch daylighters on a westin safari bar and they will rub against the plastic on the bottom of your front bumper... This will wear the powder coat off of the back of the lights and cause them to rust.. also, after running them for long enough, they will get hot enough to begin to burn/melt the plastic on your bumper where they touch... ALSO, do not leave your daylighters on when the vehicle is not in motion!!!!! THEY WILL MELT YOUR KC STONE GUARDS!!! lol..... when the vehicle is moving everything is air cooled and it is no problem...

150WATT Daylighter system on Westin Safari bar

this shows how they touch..
