Wiring nightmare. Can I remove old alarm

I''''''''''''''''ve got a wiring Nightmare on my hand''''''''''''''''s. The previous owner had an alarm system that is now dead. There''''''''''''''''s also all kind''''''''''''''''s of dead switch''''''''''''''''s, and wire''''''''''''''''s going to nothing. If you look at the pic''''''''''''''''s you will see some relay''''''''''''''''s and where they spliced into the wire''''''''''''''''s going into the ignition switch. They striped all the wire''''''''''''''''s for testing I assume, and spliced into what they needed. You can see the blue tape that is falling off.

I just want to make sure I can remove this mess with out disabling my truck. All''''''''''''''''s I was trying to do was replace the junk radio that was in there, and put a factory am/fm back in.
 
 If you look at the pic that is called "plug" you will see a plug that is not plugged in. This is a factory plug. It has a wire that is green with a white tracer, and the other wire is black. I can''t seem to find where it goes. It will almost, but not quite reach the ignition switch. It may not even go toward''s there. I don''t know. Anyone have any idea where it goes.
 
I can''t for the life of me get my pic''s to show up. And everytime I edit, I get a bunch of appostrifies. What am I doing wrong.

Forum problems.... We can still view the pics by clicking the attachment link.  As for the apostrophes....no idea why that happens or how to fix it...other than not typing them

Ya, it dawned on me after I read my edited post,,,,dont use apostrifies.

For the most part removing your alarm is just a matter of matching up the factor wires on each side of the splice.  remove the offending connection, add in a short jumper section of wire if neccassary.  Solder your connections, and heat shrink.  You should be able to find any alarm connection points by following the added wires to their various terminating points around the truck (sort of like an electrical scavenger hunt.).  2 things: 
1 - The wiring looks more like a remote start, than just an alarm (possible may be a combination unit).  Not that it really makes a difference except there may be a bypass module for the factory imobiliser buried somewhere in that mess.
2 - If you don''t know how to solder, your vehicles ignition harness is not the place to teach yourself.  A lot of people hate crimp connectors, but the fact is a good crimp connect is far better and more reliable than a poorly done solder joint.

GM''''s PASSLOCK 2 System, these wires exit the Ignition Switch Tumbler together and are in the Main Ignition Switch Harness in the Column.
Here you go, hopefully this wiring colour chart will help you out.  This is what I found for a 98 - 03 Blazer.  Note the location for the anti theft at the end of the list.  If there is a remote start, theres a good chance you''''ll have to fix these wires too.  Also you can just use tape on the wires that are stripped, if you don''''t want to cut and splice them just to put on heat shrink.  Just use a quality electrical tape, and not random blue tape?!?!
