Well i planned on making this job go smooth...BUT NO! Changed my Valve cover gasket today on my lil Mazda.Looked at it thought yeah be a easy job..well i took last bolt out broke brittle vaccum lines

so i put a rubber sleeve over that..Then as i was putting bolts back i ended up snapping the head of 1 of the back 1s grrrrrrr

So a easy job gone Bad..now i gotta run to a junkyard n get a new valve gasket bolt..That is if anyone knows if Autozone or Pep Boys sells singles

sooooo thats how my day has been...had to rant lol

Its easy to get around this situation, take a good valve cover bolt into the hardware store, find an exact match, spend a little bit of change and you got your bolt back.
Now if it snaped off in the head, its a whole new adventure getting that piece out of the hole. But you can pick up that bolt at your local hardware store.

That's why I left the leaky valve cover gaskets alone on my 2.8L. I took one look at the thing and said to myself, "This can't end well, I'm gonna break a lot of crap."
