Ok so I've been literally pushing myself to get through the week.  Now its Friday... and its only 8:40am!  UGH!  I am sitting here trying to stay awake and its sort of working but I'm bored out of my mind!  I have messenger open but the two people that I usually talk to in the mornings are both offline... sigh.... need entertainment!!

Its too quiet of a day here for me. :(

I'm at work too, actually got here early today.  Hopefully I'll get to wrench on my mom's Vette again, I've gotta post some videos when I'm done.

But it gets made up by what I get to do when I actually start working, lol.

Work was pretty boring today (or training).  We only have one acctual issue and like 2 or 3 new installs. But I cant complain about 3 more hours of overtime.  My acctual job tonight will be boring as hell, Ive been fighting to stay awake for this whole week.

lol....what I did this morning....woke up at 9ish...the sun was shining....rolled over....so I was in the sun...closed my eyes...drifted back off to sleep...woke up around 10:30 moved a little more...arranged my self around the cats....moved into the sun...napped until about 11:30 ish.....I LOVE MY BED!!! and the fact that I didn't have to get up at 6am or 5 am this morning! I don't have internet unless I find and unsecured connection..being in the ambulance all day....

im in the middle of nowhere all day up to my hips in snow

I've been so busy for the last month that I rarely get a chance to check in to the forum. When I get home I'm so exhausted that I don't feel like typing. I'm on a computer at work and I rarely get a moment to check in here.
Soon the weather will get warmer and people will stop crashing into each other and I'll have nothing to do but go fishing.

wow.....dirty girls can really twist a guy around her finger......anything requiring a questionair is bad news....and the background check only makes it worse.......

I must admit to being jelous of all you complaining about work.  I have not been able to work since my surgery, and I'm about to pull my hair out.  I love my animals and boyfriend very much, but you can only stand seeing the same thing for so long.  I am not allowed to do anything strenuous, so I am stuck watching tv or ready a book.  I would have spent time on the forum, but the vicadin made it hard to concentrate.  I want to go back to work.  

Enjoy the no working, I was at work when a line burst and I got soaked in fuel. There was about 4 inches of it in the bottom of the space I was working in, which is about 2 foot by 2 foot. I'm six foot. Sucked bad.

I know about not working red rose....I was unemployed for about a month and a half a few years ago....drove me crazy! hope you get back to work soon!

I had a motorcycle accident in 2002 and returned to work in mid 2006. I now do non physical office work, yuck! Before the accident I was a workaholic so it drove me (and anyone around me) absolutely crazy. My days became my nights, everyday was a weekend and I'd sleep whenever etc... I didn't even get a computer til last year, when thankfully I found this blazer forum, so at least my mind had to do some work.
At first it was like a treat or a holiday ( except for the pain), but then it started to get real aggrevating. There are only a few good programs on tv, like documentaries and hockey. I don't watch Oprah or any other daytime tv.....AAARRRRGGGGGHHH!!!!!
 
So ya, I can relate and wish you a speedy recovery.

Well today I am getting screwed out of money from my company AND the company accountant just yelled at me and cursed!?!  Ok I am NOT taking that crap from anybody!  He was like "Why the F**K would I pay you $30 in gas for the trip you had to take yesterday??" and when I said "why are you screaming at me?" he just got louder!!  so i walked out.  screw that.

anyways i'm waiting for my boss to get in and i'll take it up with him.  i'm tired of having to wait two weeks for expense checks to be reimbursed and then loosing out on money as well.  just ticks me off

That bites... How long have you been with them?

That's like the kind of crap we gotta go through to get reimbursed when we deploy. Except no yelling. Just lots and lots of hoops to jump through.

I have been working here since August 2005.  So about a year and a half.  This week for some reason is "abuse Dory" week here at my job.  So today I'm keeping a very low profile.  I'm going to do some cleaning up that needs to be done to my desk, then I'm going to tie up some loose end problems going on, and thats all i have going on really. 

There are times that work is so swamped I have NO idea what to do with myself and then there are days that I haven't a clue what do to keep occupied for the 9 hours that i'm here. 

I'm going to Florida just for the weekend so at least I'll be able to concentrate a little on that and what I need to bring and get done at home before I go.  Even though it's just for the weekend.
