u gonna be running an aftermarket ecu? maybe like an aem or something
nope sending my ecu out next weekend to hellsbent10 over on s10forum for a turbo base tune just to get it running. I will be running the FMU and methanol for tuning and an AEM WIDEBAND A/F guage. i will be running the intercooler between the frame rails under the truck with a small scoop welded on to it and might through a small e-fan on it.

the turbo is a T3/T4 from my friends 3SGTE build on his MR2- he made 406whp on it until he maxed it out. Since my goal is 320 to 330whp on boost it should be very good.

The turbo is a Garrett product, profesionally balanced, no shaft play, clipped, ported and spooled @ 2600 on his 2.0L 4cyl so i figure on my 4.3L is should SPOOL IMMEDIATLY which is a good thing. it still has a 1 year warranty on it so i think i got a good deal on it. paying $250 for it.

ordering 2.5" exhaust building kit maybe 2 of them, turbo xs 38mm wastegate, cartech fmu and walbro fuel pump tonight as well as GETTING all of my fluids changed to royal purple

Not that i know much about oils but my pops has worked at mac tools for almost 20 years and they had a hole station at one of there tool fairs testing all the different kinds of oils and Amsoil always came out on top for every category. Im pretty sure from what my mechanic says also you can go to there website and they have proof of how there oil is better than all the competitors. Just what i have heard and seen and thought mabye you might wanna take a look at it i have always used it and its a great product.

[8D]Great to see someone putting a turbo on these instead of supercharger. There's so much more power available in a turbo. Good luck.
