I have to go for a hair drug test for my new job and I was wondering if second hand smoke will cause me to fail.

I know its probably an excuse used so often but what is the anwser?
I searched it and came up with a bunch of mixed anwsers. I know for sure I havent smoked but I was around it for a short time in a room about 3 weeks ago.

i doubt it. as far as i know the only traces that can be picked up in your hair are drugs that have been in your bloodstream. unless you were around it for a very long time, long enough for enough smoke to get into your lungs and blood, you should be fine.

im not 100% sure...

You'll be fine assuming you've washed your hair since then. Many years ago I would stay up all night studying for drug tests. I always passed.[;)]

Not sure if you were being serious or not but if he did that they could just refuse to test and he wouldn't get the job or they can use other body hair :)

That would however be funny...ok sir we need some hair off your chest or leg for this test...sorry ma'm I shave my whole body...well...except this one area...

well i went nd took the test...but yet I still started my job today.

I change tires, oil changes, and just general things.

I must say oil changes on foriegn cars is not fun.
